Baylee + Andrew: Engagement

When we were brainstorming about where to shoot Baylee and Andrew’s engagement session, we had one thing in mind. It had to be rural countryside. Andrew works for the Dept. of Natural Resources (such a cool job!) and realized that a family friend had the perfect location for us. I don’t think I’ve ever used the words peaceful, serene, and beautifully quiet to describe an engagement session, but it was precisely that. It was perfection.

And Baylee and Andrew? They, too, are perfection. We laughed and chatted like old friends the entire afternoon. Love them! I am super excited for their October wedding! :)

Angie + Tim: Engagement

I am head over heels for this session and this couple! They brought so much energy and laughter to their photographs and I’m so thankful that I get to document their love story. I met Angie over a year ago and when she told me that Tim proposed after an island vacation, I was over the moon for her. I was even more excited when they asked me to be their photographer! Thanks, you two, for letting me come on this journey with you and I can NOT wait for your wedding!!

Katelyn + Andrew: Engagement

I was so excited for this session and the opportunity to shoot in Charlotte! Katelyn and Andrew both live in Rock Hill, so we started at Glencairn Gardens, then made our way up to the Queen City. The weather couldn’t have been better for this fun-loving couple and lucky for us, spring had just sprung!

I met this awesome couple last year at Stephanie and Patrick’s wedding and they called me soon afterwards to cover their own wedding and engagement. I love when my client family tree gains a new branch!

These two are so laid back and fun to be around; they made my job so easy! We started their session at Patriot’s Point, which is where Andrew proposed, and finished the day at Folly Beach. I can’t wait for their wedding in June!

Brandy + Justin: Engagement

I am always so honored when a friend asks me to be their photographer. Brandy is a dear friend and old roommate of mine, and as much as I love her, I love her even more with Justin. They absolutely bring out the best in each other and their happiness just spreads to those around them. We had a ton of fun strolling around downtown Charleston and Folly Beach and I’m so excited for their wedding next weekend!

Laura + Matt: Engagement

This sweet couple and I met up in Charleston for what had to have been one of the hottest days of the year. It was a scorcher! We hit up the Citadel, where Matt is an alum, before heading over to the gorgeous Boone Hall Plantation. They are such a good-natured couple and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Cicely + Brian: Engagement

I was excited to finally meet Cicely after months of phone conversations and emails. You see, she lives in Atlanta, Brian lives here in Columbia, and the fabulous Shannon Baker brought us all together. We had a really fun session on July 4th weekend and I can’t wait for their wedding in September!

Stephanie and Chad were married back in May in Richmond, VA in a private ceremony in their backyard. They wanted a small affair, with just a dozen of their close family and friends. So when they asked me to do a “couples” session with them, I was absolutely thrilled! Steph is a USC alum, so it was only fitting that we started on the Horseshoe. Not only were they naturals in front of the camera, they were a blast to work with! Thanks for making the drive down and I wish you both all the best!
