Our neighbors to the north hold a special place in my heart. My love affair started in 1998, when I lived there for a summer… since then, I go back every chance I get. Three years ago this past week, Andrew and I were married on the shores of Lake Lure, at the foot of Rumbling Bald Mountain. So to celebrate 3 beautiful years of marraige and turning 33, I wanted to be surrounded by 3 of my favorite things: the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina wineries, and my wonderful husband.
