Lauren + Nick :: Columbia SC wedding photographer

On the same day and time as her grandmother's wedding, and wearing the same dress that her grandmother and mother wore, Lauren married Nick at the church she grew up in.  It was heartfelt and touching and full of so many sentimental details.  I witnessed tears of joy, a ton of laughter, and so many smiling faces throughout the day.  It truly was a joy to be a part of and I'm so grateful to the sweet Teague family for having me.  Wishing you many blessings Lauren and Nick, and a lifetime of love and laughter!

Bryn + Ryan :: Wavering Place Wedding

I had the best time working with this couple and their dream of a vendor team!  Everything about their wedding was perfect and so much fun.  And, I'm so glad they chose to have their ceremony in front of the house (the first couple to get married in that spot!).

Bryn and Ryan had a long engagement so Bryn could finish law school, which gave them time to thoughtfully choose each element of their wedding day and really personalize everything.  I loved every single detail... the stunning florals, incredible dessert table, delicious food, stylish dresses, striped linens, alfresco dining, the caricature artist... there was even a charcuterie table with a Chicken Man painting of their tandem bike!  All set against the beautiful and magical backdrop of Wavering Place Plantation.  It was perfection and I'm grateful to everyone who worked hard to bring this dream to life.

Bryn and Ryan, thank you for being so amazing and fun to work with, for always trusting your team, for your incredible vision and style, and most importantly, for being wonderful people to be around.  I'm not gonna lie, I'm sad that it's over, but I'm excited to see your journey as a married couple!  xoxo

Lauren and Nick are married!  Her dress, worn by her grandmother and her mother on their wedding days, was one of the most stunning I've ever seen!

Courtney + Mario :: Craggy Gardens Asheville NC photographer

A few months ago, when I was thinking about how I wanted to launch my new brand, I knew that it had to include a giveaway for a portrait session.  Gifting photographs to a deserving couple or family has been one of life's greatest rewards for me and Courtney and Mario could not have been more incredible to work with.  From our initial conversation when I floated the idea of shooting in Asheville (Courtney didn't even hesitate on that one) to watching them climb out on a ledge overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains (despite her legit fear of heights), this experience was more than I had ever dreamed.

There is something so freeing, so empowering and uplifting about shooting for fun, without any pressure or preconceived expectations.  It truly fills me up.  A million thank you's to Courtney and Mario for being amazing and fearless and funny and adventurous and just plain wonderful.  You two are an inspiration and I'm forever grateful.
